Grouse, Pheasant, Partridge, Mixed Shooting and Deer Stalking

Scotland is world renowned for its country pursuits and the Scottish Borders is certainly one of the choice destination for shooting and stalking parties. The area offers a variety of mixed game and shooting set up, from rough walked up days to fully catered for Grouse days. Whilst most parties staying with us usually organise their own shooting, we have a very good relationship with the surrounding estates and will be happy to organise your trip.

A twenty five minute drive from the hotel heading west will take you to Braidwood Shooting Grounds. We are very lucky to have such an excellent set up nearby. Braidwood is the ideal venue to practice and warm up for the shooting season, or simply for a fun day out. Tuitions and gun hire are available, along with a very friendly welcome by the owners Jim and Joyce Black.

August - September Grouse shooting: over dogs, walked-up, driven
September Driven partridges
October - January Driven pheasants and partridges.
