Kelso Race Course
Ednam House hotel is only a short walk from Kelso Racecourse - Awarded Britain's Friendliest Course in 2007, Kelso racecource offers a great day out not only for the serious race-goer, but also simply as a fun day out to enjoy with friends and family.The fixtures take place from October to May - The principal races are all steeplechase. One of the most notable is the King's Own Challenge Cup, named after the King's Own Scottish Borderers who were based nearby.The major hurdle race is the Grade 2 Premier Kelso Hurdle.
